Disebo Mofuwa

Based in Botshabelo near Bloemfontein, Disebo is an activist with Gender Equality Environmental Justice (GEEJ).

Her work focuses on the environmental and health impacts of waste and illegal dumping, while highlighting the gendered dimensions of environmental injustice and advocating for the rights of women affected by pollution and poor waste management.
